Character Information
There was a time when her family had enough money or so she was told if it was during her childhood she didn't recall. She did however recall not having much but despite this fact they were happy. Sure sometimes you went to bed hungry or it was so hot or cold in the house because they just couldn't afford to turn something on. They never had much in the way of nice things not the newest toys or clothes that came from a store. It didn't matter that was all outside stuff. They had each other and they were alive and at least to Airi that was enough.
Airi was born one of ten kids. She had seven brothers and two sisters one of which was her very own twin, Nisha. The two of them were as different as night and day. Nisha was dark haired while Airi was blonde. Nisha was feisty and outspoken while Airi was shy and sweet. Airi always tried to find the best in people and Nisha thought people sucked. So, the twins were hardly close despite how much she wished it t be so.
The people she was closest to were her older brother Liam who some say loved his sister more than
Airi’s mother was the most wonderful person in the world. She always made her children feel special. Airi loved her father as well but her mother was just one of those people who could light up a room. She did everything to look after her children, even giving up her voice to save her brother, Liam from the own powers to read the minds of others. It might have continued on this way existing in this blissful, yet difficult life if it wasn't for her.
A woman who decided she wanted her brother Liam as a lover. Jessalyn was rich and pretty and she was used to getting her own way. However, Airi's brother seemed to pay her no mind. Whether because she wasn't his type or he liked another it didn't matter. The thing that matters is how she took that rejection. She was mad that he scorned her this kid from the wrong side of the tracks. Swearing she would make him regret it she set out to destroy the thing he loved most--his family.
Liam refused and while out one day she took her revenge on his family. She hired an assassin to come after the family, a witch to be exact. The witch came to them as a stranger in need of aid and their parents let him in offering him a place to stay for the night. It was then that he revealed his true colors. He used his magic to kill everyone in the house. One after one he killed them and took their souls to increase his own powers. Unknown to them at the time but the goddess of the witch clans of a far off world had chosen their mother to host her. She had found her wandering the woods alone and dying and they made a pact. She could live through their mother and blend with her over time. So, the all had powers and the witch wanted those powers for himself.
However, he saved her and her younger brother Alex for last. She was saved because he saw something within her that he wanted to possess. However, he didn't want to not complete his job. He took her as her family lay dying and had plans to kill her but bring her back later, thus fulfilling his contract. However, right as she was fading her brother Alex did something as well as another spell hit. Liam had traded his soul to save his family to a demon named Dasan. However, the demon arrived too late and all he could do was try and save Airi and Alex, but Alex’s powers also awoke at that moment. Thus all the magic sent her spiraling through a portal where she awoke in on another world.
Unknown to her at the time was the fact that her father was from the same world as the goddess who lived inside her mother that the two of them often found each other no matter how many times she blended with mortals. And that when her sister Nisha begged to live and she said to kill her first she herself ascended to a being called a pure soul. Many things of that night were lost to her when the magics collided.
It was on this new world that she tried to pick up the pieces of her life. For a short time she was taken in by a woman named Mora, who died but managed to come back before disappearing. She reunited with her brothers Liam and Alex who were very much alive. Liam had become a demon because his original request for his soul hadn't been granted, Dasan made him another offer to be his pupil. He accepted and set out on a quest for revenge against the woman who had taken his family. A quest that made him leave her with a child, a reminder of what she could never have with him. A child that she tortured because Liam in his quest for revenge didn't think of the child as anything other than a tool. He has released his mistake and has sought to make amends with his daughter.
